Menu-
I didn’t get the chance to post the menu from last week. We had White Chili, Lasagna, Salad, and French Bread; Parmesan Baked Chicken Breasts w/Alfredo Linguini & Steamed Veggies; and Pizza w/Salad. I spent $86, a little higher than normal because I bought some odds and ends at Whole Foods Market – 2.5 pounds brown rice, 2 pounds sucanat, and 6.6 pounds whole oats (groats).
This week we will be having Gumbo, Chili Chicken Skewers w/Cilantro Pesto and Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Teriyaki Chicken Wings, and Roast Chicken Legs w/Baked Potatoes and Salad. I’m making Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast on Sunday and for dessert with our movie that night we will have popcorn, apples and homemade caramel dip. I also made salsa today and will be making some sauerkraut later in the week. I spent $86 again; we were out of a lot of staple items. Still, not bad, though. J
